Description
Transform old red crayons into stunning suncatchers that brighten up any window with vibrant colors.
Ingredients
- Red crayons (broken or old)
- Oven-safe silicone mold (suncatcher shapes)
- Baking sheet (optional, for easy transfer)
- Parchment paper (optional, for easy cleanup)
- Scissors
- Knife (for adult use only)
Instructions
- Sort the crayons and remove paper wrappers.
- Break crayons into small pieces, about 1-inch chunks.
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Place crayon pieces in the silicone molds, filling each section generously.
- Put the molds on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until melted.
- Remove from oven and cool at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
- Gently pop the suncatchers out of the molds.
- If desired, tie a piece of string through the top for hanging.
- Find a sunny window to showcase your new creations.
