Ingredients
- Epoxy resin kit (resin and hardener)
- Silicone molds (gem-shaped designs)
- Resin dye in various colors
- Mixing cups and stir sticks
- Gloves
- Masking tape
- Heat gun or torch (for bubble removal)
- Optional: glitter or small embellishments
Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Lay down a protective covering on your work surface. Gather all materials and set them within easy reach.
- Mix the Resin: Wear gloves, measure equal parts of resin and hardener and stir for about 3-5 minutes until well blended.
- Add Color: Divide the resin mixture and add resin dye to each cup, mixing well.
- Pour into Molds: Pour colored resins into silicone molds, layering for a rainbow effect.
- Remove Bubbles: Use a heat gun or torch to eliminate any rising bubbles.
- Cure the Resin: Let the resin cure according to product instructions (usually 24 hours).
- Unmold your Gems: Once fully cured, gently peel away the silicone mold to reveal your gems.
