Description

A fun and easy DIY Rainbow Foam project that engages children’s creativity through sensory play.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup shaving cream
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Food coloring (multiple colors)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Storage container (for later use)

Instructions

  1. Combine the white school glue and shaving cream in a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir gently until fully combined, achieving a light and fluffy texture.
  3. Gradually sprinkle in the cornstarch while continuing to stir until smooth.
  4. If using multiple colors, divide the foam into separate bowls and add a few drops of food coloring to each.
  5. Mix until the desired color is achieved and the foam remains fluffy.
  6. Use hands or tools to mold and sculpt the foam into fun designs.
  7. Store in a sealed container when not in use to retain texture.

Notes

Experiment with adding glitter or essential oils for enhanced sensory experiences. Always supervise young kids during play.
