Instructions
- Choose a healthy and sturdy medium-sized pumpkin.
- Using a sharp knife, cut off the top of the pumpkin to create a lid.
- With a spoon, scoop out the insides of the pumpkin, removing all the seeds and stringy bits.
- Insert the stick or wooden dowel through the pumpkin’s side for a perch.
- Fill the pumpkin generously with birdseed, leaving some space at the top.
- Place the lid back on the pumpkin, securing it with twine if desired.
