Description

Transform ordinary eggshells into beautiful pink crystal creations with this fun and eco-friendly DIY project.

Ingredients

  • Clean eggshells (6-8, washed and dried)
  • Pink food coloring (liquid or gel)
  • Epsom salt (1 cup)
  • Water (2 cups)
  • Small bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Baking oven or drying area

Instructions

  1. Prepare the eggshells by carefully cracking them and retaining the shells; rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
  2. Make the crystal solution by mixing 1 cup of Epsom salt with 2 cups of water in a small bowl and adding a few drops of pink food coloring.
  3. Soak the eggshells in the pink crystal solution for at least 12 hours, allowing them to gradually absorb the color.
  4. Dry the eggshells by placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and baking at 200°F (93°C) for about 30 minutes.
  5. Admire your creations after they cool, and consider using them as decorations or gifts.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and embellishments for unique designs. Ensure eggshells are thoroughly clean and dry for best results.
