Ingredients
- Clean eggshells (6-8, washed and dried)
- Pink food coloring (liquid or gel)
- Epsom salt (1 cup)
- Water (2 cups)
- Small bowl
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Baking oven or drying area
Instructions
- Prepare the eggshells by carefully cracking them and retaining the shells; rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
- Make the crystal solution by mixing 1 cup of Epsom salt with 2 cups of water in a small bowl and adding a few drops of pink food coloring.
- Soak the eggshells in the pink crystal solution for at least 12 hours, allowing them to gradually absorb the color.
- Dry the eggshells by placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and baking at 200°F (93°C) for about 30 minutes.
- Admire your creations after they cool, and consider using them as decorations or gifts.
