Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 1 cup water
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Sealed containers for storage

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of salt. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  2. Gradually stir in 1 cup of water until the mixture is smooth and similar to pancake batter.
  3. Divide the mixture into separate containers and add food coloring to each, mixing until desired color intensity is achieved.
  4. Transfer the paint into sealed containers and label each with the color.

Notes

For thicker paint, add cornstarch. You can also add essential oils for scent or glitter for a sparkly finish.
