Create colorful DIY glue suncatchers that brighten your windows with vibrant designs.

Ingredients

  • Clear school glue
  • Food coloring or liquid watercolors
  • Wax paper or plastic wrap
  • A paintbrush (optional)
  • Scissors
  • Markers (optional)
  • Glitter (optional)
  • Small shapes (e.g., cut-out paper or foam shapes)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing a flat surface and covering it with wax paper or plastic wrap.
  2. In a bowl, combine the clear school glue with a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolor.
  3. Use a paintbrush or your fingers to spread the colored glue onto the wax paper in your desired shapes.
  4. Sprinkle glitter or add small foam shapes on top of the glue while it’s still wet.
  5. Let your creation dry completely for at least 24 hours.
  6. Once dry, carefully peel off the wax paper and cut your suncatcher into preferred shapes.
  7. Use tape or string to hang your suncatcher in a sunny window.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and shapes to create unique designs. Consider using seasonal themes for your creations.
