Description
Create enchanting glow-in-the-dark fireflies with simple materials, perfect for decorations indoors or outdoors.
Ingredients
- Clear plastic bottles (small)
- Glow-in-the-dark paint or glow sticks
- Black construction paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Wire (floral or craft wire)
- LED mini lights (optional)
- Paintbrushes (if using paint)
- Optional: Glitter for added sparkle
Instructions
- Prepare Your Bottles: Clean the bottles and cut them in half.
- Painting the Bottles: Apply glow-in-the-dark paint inside or outside the bottle and let it dry.
- Crafting the Firefly Bodies: Cut wings from black construction paper and attach to the bottle with hot glue.
- Create the Antennae: Bend wire into shapes and attach to the bottle top.
- Adding Lights (Optional): Insert LED mini lights inside the bottle for extra brightness.
