A fun and easy DIY floam recipe that combines the squishy delight of foam with the stretchy satisfaction of slime, perfect for kids and adults.
Ingredients

- 1 cup white school glue
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup shaving cream
- 1/2 cup foam beads (or polystyrene beads)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Food coloring (optional)
- 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (containing boric acid)
- Mixing bowl
- Spoon or spatula
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of water. Stir well until the mixture is smooth.
- Fold in 1/2 cup of shaving cream into the glue mixture.
- Gently mix in 1/2 cup of foam beads.
- If you’d like, stir in a few drops of food coloring until you achieve your desired shade.
- Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and mix thoroughly. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution while stirring.
- Once combined, use your hands to knead the mixture until it reaches the right consistency.
Notes
Add glitter for sparkle, scented oils for aroma, or different fillers for texture.
