Description

A fun and easy DIY floam recipe that combines the squishy delight of foam with the stretchy satisfaction of slime, perfect for kids and adults.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white school glue
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup shaving cream
  • 1/2 cup foam beads (or polystyrene beads)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (containing boric acid)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1 cup of water. Stir well until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Fold in 1/2 cup of shaving cream into the glue mixture.
  3. Gently mix in 1/2 cup of foam beads.
  4. If you’d like, stir in a few drops of food coloring until you achieve your desired shade.
  5. Sprinkle in 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and mix thoroughly. Slowly add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution while stirring.
  6. Once combined, use your hands to knead the mixture until it reaches the right consistency.

Notes

Add glitter for sparkle, scented oils for aroma, or different fillers for texture.
