Description

A fun and educational DIY project to make colorful, fizzing slime using simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of white school glue
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda
  • 12 tablespoons of vinegar
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • 12 cups of warm water
  • Mixing bowl
  • Stirring stick
  • Airtight storage container

Instructions

  1. Mix Glue and Baking Soda: In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Stir until fully blended.
  2. Add Color (Optional): If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the glue mixture and stir until the color is evenly distributed.
  3. Add Warm Water: Gradually stir in 1-2 cups of warm water, mixing well until you achieve your desired consistency.
  4. Add Vinegar: As the final touch, slowly pour in 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar. Watch as the slime fizzes and bubbles, adding an exciting sensory effect!
  5. Transfer to Container: Once the fizzing settles, transfer your slime to an airtight storage container to keep it fresh for future play.

Notes

Store slime in an airtight container for up to a week. Use adult supervision for younger children.
