Description
A colorful DIY Firework Suncatcher that brightens up your space and adds a splash of creativity.
Ingredients
- Clear contact paper or adhesive film
- Colored tissue paper (red, blue, yellow, etc.)
- Scissors
- Black construction paper (for edges)
- Pencil or marker
- Hole punch (optional)
- String or ribbon (for hanging)
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: Cut a large piece of black construction paper into your desired shape (circle, star, etc.).
- Create the Firework Effect: Cut colored tissue paper into small squares or shapes. Peel the backing of the clear contact paper.
- Layer the Colors: Stick the colorful tissue paper cuts to the sticky side of the contact paper in a fun pattern.
- Seal and Cut: Place another piece of contact paper over the top and trim excess contact paper.
- Finish with a Frame: Glue or tape the black construction paper outline around the edges and punch a hole at the top.
- Hang Your Masterpiece: Use string or ribbon to hang your suncatcher near a sunlit window.
Notes
Experiment with colors for various occasions and consider adding glitter for extra sparkle.
