Description

Create enchanting glowing fireflies using simple household materials for a magical touch to your home.


Ingredients

  • Clear jars or small containers
  • Glow sticks or LED tealight candles
  • Decorative materials (glitter, paint, or colored paper)
  • Green or yellow tissue paper (for firefly wings)
  • Black construction paper (for bodies)
  • Scissors
  • Glue or tape
  • Optional: Additional embellishments (ribbons, stickers, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Clean and dry the jars thoroughly. Decorate the exterior with colors if desired.
  2. Cut black construction paper into small ovals or circles for the fireflies’ bodies; attach them to the jars.
  3. Cut green or yellow tissue paper into wing shapes and attach them with glue.
