Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup water
- 20–30 drops of essential oils (e.g., lavender, lemon, eucalyptus)
- Optional: food coloring
- Mixing bowl
- Silicone molds
- Airtight container (for storage)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by cleaning and laying down newspaper or a silicone mat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1/2 cup of water. Stir until a thick, smooth paste forms.
- Add 20-30 drops of your selected essential oils to the mixture. Optionally, add food coloring.
- Spoon the mixture into silicone molds, pressing down to eliminate air pockets.
- Let the stones dry for 24-48 hours at room temperature, or bake in a low oven (200°F) for 1-2 hours.
- Once dried, carefully remove the stones from the molds.
Notes
Experiment with different essential oil combinations and mold shapes for unique designs. Store any unused stones in an airtight container.
