Instructions

  1. Craft Your Volcano: Shape a cone with clay, playdough, or paper mache around the container. Let it dry.
  2. Prepare for Eruption: Place the volcano on a tray and add 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda to the container.
  3. Add Color and Excitement: (Optional) Add a small squirt of dish soap and a few drops of food coloring into the baking soda.
  4. Erupt! Quickly pour vinegar into the container and stand back to observe the reaction.
