Ingredients
- Balloon (any size)
- Cotton thread or yarn
- White glue (or craft glue)
- Water
- Bowl (for mixing)
- Scissors
- Wax paper or plastic sheet (for drying)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix one part white glue with one part water and stir well.
- Inflate the balloon to your desired size, tie it securely and set aside.
- Cut the thread or yarn into lengths of about 12-15 feet and dip each piece into the glue mixture.
- Start wrapping the soaked thread around the knot of the balloon until covered to your liking.
- Place the balloon on wax paper or a plastic sheet to dry for at least 24 hours.
- Once dry, carefully pop the balloon with scissors or a pin and peel it away from the thread.
- Trim any excess thread as needed to complete your decoration.
