Description

Unleash your creativity with a fun and engaging DIY Dino Egg Piñata, perfect for any dino-themed celebration!

Ingredients

  • Balloons (large and small)
  • Newspaper (torn into strips)
  • Flour or glue (for the papier-mâché)
  • Water (for mixing)
  • Paint (acrylic or tempera in your desired colors)
  • Paintbrushes
  • Scissors
  • String or twine
  • Candy or small toys for filling
  • Tape
  • Optional: embellishments (glitter, stickers, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Mix flour and water in a bowl to create a paste similar to pancake batter. Tear newspaper into 1-inch wide, 6-8 inch long strips.
  2. Inflate a large balloon until it’s about the size of a dino egg and tie it securely.
  3. Dip a strip of newspaper into the paste, coat it, and smooth it over the balloon. Continue layering with 3-4 layers.
  4. Hang the balloon in a cool area and let it dry completely for 24 hours.
  5. Once dry, cut open the balloon and remove it, leaving a small opening for filling.
  6. Decorate the outer surface with paint as desired.
  7. Fill the piñata through the opening with candy or small toys and seal it with tape.
  8. Attach string or twine for hanging and add final decorations like glitter or stickers.

Notes
