Description

Create enchanting dragonflies that illuminate your space with colorful lights and whimsy, perfect for all ages.

Ingredients

  • LED tea lights
  • Colorful tissue paper or cellophane
  • Scissors
  • Wire (floral or craft wire)
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Beads (optional, for embellishing)
  • Paint pen or markers
  • Optional: Decorative ribbons or glitter

Instructions

  1. Cut the tissue paper or cellophane into wing shapes, making two wings per dragonfly in varied sizes.
  2. Shape a length of wire into the dragonfly’s body and attach the wings symmetrically with a hot glue gun.
  3. Secure an LED tea light at the base of the body for stability and embellish with beads if desired.
  4. Use paint pens or markers to add details and attach glitter or ribbons for flair.

Notes

For sturdier wings, consider using colored paper or fabric. Experiment with various LED light colors to set the mood.
