Ingredients
- Old crayons (assorted colors)
- Wax paper
- Iron
- Parchment paper (or a sheet of newspaper)
- Scissors
- String or suction cups (for hanging)
- Baking sheet (optional)
Instructions
- Gather your old crayons and peel off their paper wrappers.
- Use a grater or knife to shave the crayons into small pieces.
- Cut two pieces of wax paper to your desired size (typically around 6 inches by 6 inches).
- Sprinkle the crayon shavings evenly on the center of the wax paper.
- Place the second piece of wax paper on top of the crayon shavings.
- Set your iron to a low heat (no steam) and gently press over the parchment paper for about 10-15 seconds.
- Let the suncatcher cool completely before removing the parchment paper.
- Attach string or suction cups to hang your suncatcher in a bright window.
