Description

Transform ordinary crayons into stunning pieces of art by melting them on a canvas. A fun and eco-friendly craft perfect for all ages!

Ingredients

  • Broken or unused crayons
  • Canvas or heavy paper
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Hair dryer or heat gun
  • Protective newspaper or cardboard
  • Optional: Stencils or masking tape

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by laying down protective newspaper or cardboard.
  2. Gather a selection of crayons and break them into smaller pieces if desired.
  3. Use the hot glue gun to attach crayons in a row along the top edge of your canvas and allow them to cool completely.
  4. Using a hair dryer or heat gun, hold it close to the crayons and gently melt them, starting from one end to let the colors drip down.
  5. Adjust the heat and angle to create desired patterns with the flowing wax.
  6. Once melted, allow the artwork to cool completely before displaying it.

Notes

For extra effects, experiment with different color combinations and add glitter while the wax is warm.
