Ingredients
- Clear plastic bottles (cleaned and dried)
- LED fairy lights or glow sticks
- Black paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Tape or glue
- Optional: Paints, glitter, ribbons, or googly eyes for decoration
Instructions
- Ensure your plastic bottle is thoroughly cleaned and dried. Cut a small hole in the cap or bottom for the light source.
- Take your LED fairy lights or glow sticks and insert them into the bottle. If using fairy lights, tuck them in for a cozy glow.
- Cut out shapes from black paper or cardstock to represent the firefly wings. Create different sizes for a unique look.
- Secure the wings to the sides of the bottle using tape or glue.
- Add paints, glitter, or googly eyes to your fireflies as desired and let your creativity shine in your design.
- Once your fireflies are decorated, switch off the room lights and watch them glow!
