Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup salt
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • Food coloring (variety of colors)
  • Scented essential oils (optional)
  • Mixing bowl

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, cream of tartar, and vegetable oil. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Gradually add warm water while stirring. Mix in food coloring to your liking.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a cooking pot over medium heat and stir continuously until it thickens and forms a ball.
  4. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and knead until smooth and pliable.
  5. For slime, add 1 cup of glue and 1 teaspoon of water with baking soda to create a stretchy texture.

Notes

Customize colors and scents by using different food colorings and essential oils. For a gluten-free version, substitute flour with cornstarch.
