Create charming DIY Christmas reindeer ornaments that add a personal touch to your holiday decorations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 brown pom-pom (for the body)
- 1 smaller tan or beige pom-pom (for the head)
- 2 googly eyes
- 1 red pom-pom (for the nose)
- Brown pipe cleaners (for antlers)
- Glue (craft or hot glue)
- Scissors
- String or ribbon (for hanging)
- Optional: Glitter or paint for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare Your Workspace: Choose a clean, flat surface to work on and gather all materials for easy access.
- Assemble the Reindeer Body: Apply a small dab of glue to the top of the brown pom-pom and place the tan or beige pom-pom on top. Attach the googly eyes by adding glue to the back and pressing onto the tan pom-pom. Secure the red pom-pom just below the eyes as the nose.
- Create Antlers: Snip two pieces of brown pipe cleaner to about 4 inches each. Twist them into antler shapes and attach to the back of the tan pom-pom with glue.
- Add the Hanging String: Cut a piece of string or ribbon about 6 inches long. Make a loop and glue the ends to the top of the head pom-pom.
- Final Touches: Optionally add glitter or paint for decoration. Let it dry completely before displaying.
