Description

Make your own bubble bath dough for a fun and sensory bath time experience that can be customized with colors and scents.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Epsom salt
  • 1 cup liquid soap (like dish soap or body wash)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Essential oils (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon
  • Airtight container for storage

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup cornstarch, and 1/2 cup Epsom salt. Whisk until well blended.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup liquid soap and 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil. Slowly add this to the dry ingredients, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  3. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and essential oils. Adjust to achieve your desired color and scent.
  4. Stir vigorously until all ingredients are combined and resemble thick dough. Add more liquid soap if too crumbly.
  5. Transfer the dough into an airtight container and let it sit for a few hours to firm up before using it.

Notes

For a smoother dough, use a food processor. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
