Description

Create your very own colorful bouncy balls using simple household materials. A fun DIY project for all ages that blends creativity and science!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon of borax
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of white school glue
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or craft stick
  • Wax paper or baking sheet (for drying)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 tablespoon borax and 1 tablespoon water. Stir until the borax is dissolved.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of school glue with 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Add food coloring if desired. Stir until well combined.
  3. Gradually pour the borax solution into the glue mixture. Keep stirring until a thick ball of goo forms.
  4. Use your hands to knead the dough gently and roll it into a smooth ball shape.
  5. Place the ball on wax paper or a baking sheet to dry for a few minutes, then give it a bounce!
