Description

Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups birdseed mix (preferably with nuts and fruits)
- 2 packets unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup water
- Cookie cutters or silicone molds
- Twine or string (optional)
- Mixing bowl
- Whisk or spoon
- Optional: dried fruits, cranberries, or nuts for decoration
Instructions
- Choose your molds: Select cookie cutters or silicone molds for your ornaments.
- Prepare your workspace: Cover surfaces with newspaper or a plastic sheet for easy cleanup.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of water with the gelatin and stir until dissolved.
- Gradually stir in 3 cups of birdseed until the mixture is well-coated.
- Press the birdseed mix firmly into the molds and add optional ingredients if desired.
- To create hanging loops, insert twine vertically into each mold.
- Freeze for several hours until completely solid.
- Carefully remove ornaments from the molds and hang them outside on tree branches or hooks.
