Instructions
- Prepare the bioplastic mixture: In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, water, white vinegar, and corn syrup. Stir over medium heat until it thickens, about 5-10 minutes.
- Color the mixture: Divide the mixture into bowls, add food coloring and mix to achieve desired shades.
- Pour and shape: Place wax paper or a baking sheet on a flat surface. Pour the colored mixture and shape with cookie cutters or create freeform designs.
- Drying process: Allow suncatchers to dry for at least 24 hours until hardened, flipping halfway through.
- Finishing touches: Once dry, peel off the wax paper and trim rough edges with scissors.
