Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
- Food coloring (optional)
- Wax paper or parchment paper
- Scissors
- Paintbrush (optional)
- Nature items (leaves, flower petals, etc.)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, water, and corn syrup. Mix over medium heat until thickened (3-5 minutes).
- Add optional food coloring and stir until even.
- Remove from heat and cool slightly. Spread mixture on wax paper to form shapes.
- Allow to dry for 24 hours, then peel them off.
- Create a hole at the top to hang with string or fishing line in a sunny spot.
