Description

Create stunning eco-friendly bioplastic suncatchers that catch and refract sunlight beautifully. Perfect for home decor or gifts!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Wax paper or parchment paper
  • Scissors
  • Paintbrush (optional)
  • Nature items (leaves, flower petals, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, water, and corn syrup. Mix over medium heat until thickened (3-5 minutes).
  2. Add optional food coloring and stir until even.
  3. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Spread mixture on wax paper to form shapes.
  4. Allow to dry for 24 hours, then peel them off.
  5. Create a hole at the top to hang with string or fishing line in a sunny spot.
