Description

Create delightful DIY aroma stones as natural air fresheners for your home. Customize scents to your preference with essential oils for a unique sensory experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Essential oils (your choice)
  • Silicone molds or cookie cutters
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Optional: Food coloring

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of cornstarch.
  2. Gradually stir in 1/2 cup of water until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Incorporate 5–10 drops of your chosen essential oil into the mixture. (Consider scents like lavender, eucalyptus, or citrus.)
  4. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Pour the mixture into silicone molds or press into cookie cutters, smoothing the surface with a spatula.
  6. Allow the stones to dry for 24–48 hours at room temperature, or until fully hardened.
  7. Carefully remove the stones from the molds and place them around your home or gift them to friends!

Notes

Experiment with different essential oil blends and molds for creative shapes. Consider using food-safe colors and dried flowers for added appeal.
