Description

A fun and enchanting DIY project to create a whimsical alien nightlight using simple materials.

Ingredients

  • A clean glass jar (e.g., mason jar)
  • Green paint or green spray paint
  • A LED tea light
  • Black construction paper
  • Scissors
  • A glue stick or hot glue gun
  • Optional: googly eyes and other decorative embellishments

Instructions

  1. Clean the glass jar thoroughly and remove any labels. If desired, spray or paint the outside of the jar with green paint. Allow it to dry completely.
  2. Cut out shapes from the black construction paper to create alien eyes and a mouth. Attach the eyes and mouth to the jar using glue.
  3. Place the LED tea light inside the jar, ensuring it’s securely resting at the base.
  4. Decorate the top of the jar with additional embellishments like pipe cleaners or stickers, turn on the LED light, and enjoy the glow!

Notes

Experiment with different colors and designs to personalize your alien nightlight.
