Description

Create vibrant and playful Dino Suncatchers to brighten your home and foster creativity.

Ingredients

  • Transparent contact paper or clear laminating sheets
  • Colored tissue paper (green, blue, yellow, etc.)
  • Scissors
  • Dinosaur templates (printable or hand-drawn)
  • Marker or pencil
  • String (for hanging)
  • Optional: Googly eyes, glitter for extra flair

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Clear a workspace and lay out materials, ensuring everything is within reach.
  2. Create Dino Shapes: Use dinosaur templates or hand-draw your favorite dinos on a piece of paper. Cut out the shapes and set aside.
  3. Cut Tissue Paper: Tear or cut colored tissue paper into small squares or shapes to fill in your dinos.
  4. Assemble the Suncatcher: Layer contact paper sticky side up, arrange dinosaur shapes on it, and fill with tissue pieces.
  5. Seal it up: Cover your design with another layer of contact paper.
  6. Cut and Hang: Cut around shapes leaving a small border of contact paper and attach string for hanging.
  7. Enjoy the View: Hang your Dino Suncatcher in a window and watch the beautiful colors it casts!

Notes

Try different animal shapes, use glitter for sparkle, or collaborate on larger projects.
