Create a stunning decorative fish jar that adds a whimsical underwater scene to your home decor.
Ingredients
- Clear glass jar (mason jar or similar)
- Decorative gravel or sand
- Plastic fish (variety of colors and sizes)
- Small plants (artificial or real, like moss)
- Water (if using real plants)
- Adhesive (craft glue or hot glue gun)
- Optional: Acrylic paint or stickers for decoration
- Optional: LED lights for added effect
Instructions
- Prepare your jar by cleaning and drying it thoroughly. Add a layer of decorative gravel or sand at the bottom.
- Create an underwater scene by arranging the plastic fish on top of the gravel. Place small artificial plants around them if using.
- Secure the fish and plants using craft glue or a hot glue gun to prevent movement.
- Add water until the jar is about three-quarters full if using real plants, or leave it dry and paint the inside with acrylic paint.
- Finalize your decorative jar by placing LED lights around the gravel or inside the jar for a glowing effect.
