- Clear contact paper or laminating sheets
- Scissors
- Craft glue or a glue stick
- Cardstock or heavy paper for the base
- Pencil
- Hole punch (optional)
- String or ribbon for hanging
Instructions
- Prepare Your Materials: Gather all materials in a clean, organized workspace and choose your favorite colors of tissue paper.
- Design the Star Shape: Draw a star shape on the cardstock using a pencil.
- Cut the Star Shape: Carefully cut out the star shape from the cardstock to serve as the base for your sun catcher.
- Cut Tissue Paper: Cut the colored tissue paper into small squares or shapes for an eye-catching design.
- Create the Stained Glass Effect: Peel off one side of the contact paper and lay it sticky-side up on your workspace. Arrange the tissue paper pieces on the sticky surface.
