Ingredients

- 1 cup Epsom salt or sugar
- 1 cup hot water
- Food coloring (various colors)
- Small plastic or glass containers (jars or bowls)
- String or twine
- Cardboard or wooden base
- Optional: Small figurines or decorations (trees, houses, etc.)
Instructions
- Mix 1 cup of Epsom salt (or sugar) with 1 cup of hot water in a bowl until dissolved.
- Divide the solution into smaller bowls and add food coloring to create various colors.
- Fill your containers with the colored solution, leaving some space at the top.
- Place the containers in a cool, undisturbed place and leave them for 24-48 hours to allow crystals to form.
- Prepare your cardboard or wooden base and visualize where to place the containers.
- Once the crystals have formed, remove them from the containers and arrange with string or twine and decorations.
Notes
Experiment with different types of salt and add glitter for extra sparkle. Involve kids for a fun creative experience!
