Description

A visually stunning and delightful cake designed to resemble a snowman, perfect for winter celebrations and holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 round cakes (6-inch each, flavor of your choice)
  • White buttercream frosting
  • Blue and white edible glitter or sugar
  • Black fondant (for eyes, mouth, and buttons)
  • Orange fondant (for the carrot nose)
  • Mini chocolate chips (for decoration)
  • Food coloring (optional, for colored frosting)

Instructions

  1. Bake the two 6-inch round cakes using your favorite cake recipe and let them cool completely.
  2. Level the tops of the cakes if they have domed using a serrated knife.
  3. Layer one cake layer on your cake board and spread a layer of buttercream frosting on top.
  4. Place the second cake layer on top and gently press down.
  5. Apply a thin layer of buttercream all over the cake to seal in crumbs and chill for 30 minutes.
  6. After chilling, frost the entire cake with a thick layer of buttercream, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  7. Sprinkle edible glitter or sugar generously over the frosted cake.
  8. Roll out the black fondant for the eyes, mouth, and buttons, and the orange fondant for the nose.
  9. Gently press the fondant features onto the cake and use mini chocolate chips for extra decoration.

Notes

Try different flavors of cake or frosting for a unique twist. You can also use sprinkles instead of glitter for a playful touch.
