- 2 cups hot water

Instructions
- Bend the pipe cleaners into various snowflake shapes.
- Boil the water and mix 1/2 cup of Borax with 2 cups of hot water in a large jar until dissolved.
- Attach one end of the string to your snowflake and the other to a pencil or stick. Suspend the snowflake in the jar.
- Let the jar sit undisturbed for 6-24 hours to allow crystals to form.
- Remove the snowflake from the jar, pat off excess water, and let it dry completely.
