Instructions
- Bend the pipe cleaner: Take one pipe cleaner and bend it into a U shape.
- Twist to form the heart: Bring the two ends of the U together and twist them at the base to form the top of the heart shape.
- String the beads: Thread crystal beads onto the pipe cleaner, leaving a bit of space at the ends for reinforcement.
- Secure the ends: Twist the ends of the pipe cleaner together at the bottom of the heart shape to form a secure base.
- Use floral wire: For added strength, wrap floral wire around the heart shape, especially if using larger crystals.
- Attach a hanger: Create a loop at the top with some extra pipe cleaner, to hang your heart.
- Add hot glue (optional): For extra stability, add a small dot of hot glue at the base of each crystal to keep them in place.
- Soak for crystal growth: Soak the finished heart in a saturated saltwater solution to encourage crystal growth.
