Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup of Epsom salt
- 1 cup of warm water
- Food coloring (various colors)
- 1 jar or container
- String or twine (optional for hanging)
- A small dish or surface for drying
Instructions
- Dissolve Epsom Salt: In a bowl, mix 1 cup of warm water with 1 cup of Epsom salt. Stir gently until the salt is fully dissolved.
- Add Color: Incorporate a few drops of food coloring into the mixture.
- Choose a Mold: Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter or any other mold. Place it securely on a flat surface.
- Pour the Mixture: Carefully pour the solution into the mold, filling it but leaving some room at the top.
- Wait Patiently: Allow the mold to sit undisturbed at room temperature for at least 24 hours.
- Remove Crystal Heart: Once crystallization is complete, carefully remove the heart from the mold.
- Dry the Heart: Place it on a dish or surface and let it dry for another couple of hours.
Notes
Experiment with different colors and molds for unique creations. Consider adding glitter for extra sparkle.
