Description

Create your own stunning crystal heart using epoxy resin, perfect for home decor or as a heartfelt gift.

Ingredients

  • Resin epoxy (clear or tinted)
  • Heart-shaped silicone mold
  • Color pigments
  • Glitter or confetti
  • Mixing sticks
  • Cup for mixing
  • Protective gloves
  • Masking tape
  • Heat gun or torch (optional)
  • Sandpaper (for smoothing edges)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by covering a flat surface with newspaper or a plastic sheet.
  2. In a mixing cup, measure equal parts of resin and hardener, then mix thoroughly.
  3. Divide the mixed resin into smaller cups if using multiple colors, add color pigments and glitter, and stir well.
  4. Carefully pour the colored resin into the heart-shaped mold.
  5. If bubbles appear, use a heat gun or torch to eliminate them.
  6. Allow the resin to cure for 24 hours as per manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. Once cured, gently pull the heart from the mold and use sandpaper to smooth any rough edges if needed.

Notes

Experiment with colors and incorporate dried flowers for personalized touches. Avoid using heat to speed up the curing process.
