Description

Homemade crystal gummies that are customizable in flavor and color, perfect for parties and gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fruit juice (like berry, citrus, or apple)
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • Natural food coloring (optional)
  • Silicone molds
  • A whisk or spoon for stirring
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Instructions

  1. Select your molds: Choose silicone molds for easy release and ensure they are clean and dry.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fruit juice and 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup.
  3. Slowly sprinkle 2 tablespoons of gelatin over the mixture, stirring with a whisk to avoid lumps.
  4. Place the saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is fully dissolved, about 5 minutes.
  5. Carefully pour the mixture into your silicone molds.
  6. Allow them to cool at room temperature and then transfer to the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours until they set completely.
  7. Once firm, gently press on the bottom of the molds to release the gummies.
  8. Keep them in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

Try using different fruit juices and adjust sweetness to your taste. For a vegan alternative, use agave syrup.
