Description

Ingredients

  • Clean eggshells (halved and dried)
  • 3 tablespoons borax (sodium borate)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Small container or cup
  • Spoon for mixing
  • Craft brush (optional for touch-ups)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the eggshells by rinsing and drying them thoroughly.
  2. Create the crystal solution by mixing borax and hot water in a small container.
  3. Fill the eggshells with the crystal solution, leaving some space at the top.
  4. Chill and wait for at least 24 hours in a cool area to allow crystals to form.
  5. Reveal the geodes by carefully removing the eggshells from the solution and rinsing them.
  6. Display your beautiful geodes once dry!
