- Plastic Easter eggs
- 1 cup Borax (sodium borate)
- 2 cups Water
- Food coloring (optional)
- Small bowls or containers

Instructions
- Measure Water: Heat 2 cups of water until it’s almost boiling.
- Add Borax: Stir in 1 cup of borax until fully dissolved to create your crystallization solution.
- Add Color: For colorful geodes, add a few drops of food coloring to the solution and stir.
- Prepare Eggs: Take your plastic Easter eggs and place them half-open in a bowl.
- Pour Solution: Carefully pour the borax solution into the bottom half of the egg until it’s about halfway filled.
- Insert Stick: Place a stirring stick or spoon in the egg so it stays upright.
- Let It Sit: Leave the eggs undisturbed for 6-8 hours or overnight to allow crystals to form.
- Remove Crystals: Once fully crystallized, gently remove the eggs from the solution and rinse them briefly under warm water.
- Showcase Your Eggs: Allow your crystals to dry completely, then display them or use them as decorations.
