Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup white school glue
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup water (for the slime activator)
- 1/4 cup contact lens solution (or liquid starch)
- 1 cup foam beads
- Food coloring (optional)
- Mixing bowl
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Spoon for stirring
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and 1/2 cup of water. Stir well until fully mixed.
- Add 1/2 tsp of baking soda to the glue mixture and stir until it dissolves completely.
- If desired, drop in a few drops of food coloring and mix until you achieve your desired shade.
- In a separate cup, combine 1 cup of water with 1/4 cup of contact lens solution. Gradually add this mixture into the glue mixture while stirring continuously.
- Add 1 cup of foam beads to the slime and mix until the beads are evenly distributed.
- Take the slime out of the bowl and knead it with your hands.
Notes
For variations, try using neon colors, scented oils, or different textural add-ins like glitters. Store in an airtight container.
