- 1 cup of white school glue
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda
- 2 cups of water (for rinsing)
- 1/2 cup of crunchy foam beads (or any decorative beads)
- 1/2 cup of contact lens solution
- Food coloring or glitter (optional)
- Mixing bowl
- Spoon for mixing
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue with 1 cup of water. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is uniform.
- Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the glue mixture. Mix well to ensure there are no lumps.
- Optionally, add a few drops of food coloring or a sprinkle of glitter and mix until evenly distributed.
- Slowly add 1/2 cup of contact lens solution, stirring continuously until the mixture begins to form a slime-like consistency.
- Gently fold in 1/2 cup of crunchy foam beads into the mixture.
- Knead the slime with your hands until it reaches your preferred texture. Add more contact solution if it’s too sticky.
Notes
Store the slime in an airtight container to extend its shelf life. You can also experiment with scents and textures by adding essential oils, toys, or multiple colors.
