- 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and cornstarch in a large bowl. Mix until well coated.
- Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add the melted butter and milk, stirring until just combined.
- Spoon the batter over the peach filling. It will look uneven, but it will spread while baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
- Cool for at least 10 minutes before serving to let the filling set.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger. Substitute with almond milk and coconut oil for a dairy-free option.
