Ingredients
- Crayons (broken or whole, any colors)
- Wax paper or parchment paper
- A flat baking sheet
- An iron
- Scissors
- Hole punch (optional)
- String or ribbon for hanging (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- Peel the wrappers off the crayons and break them into small pieces (1-inch or less).
- Place a sheet of wax or parchment paper on the baking sheet and scatter crayon pieces in a single layer.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven for about 10 minutes until melted.
- Remove the baking sheet and fold the wax paper over the melted crayons.
- Press the iron over the top sheet of wax paper for a few seconds until the crayon designs fuse together.
- Let cool, cut out shapes, or leave as is, then hang your suncatcher!
Notes
Experiment with color combinations and different papers for texture. Use glitter for added sparkle!
