Ingredients
- Old crayons (various colors)
- Wax paper
- Pencil sharpener or knife (for shaving crayons)
- Baking sheet
- Oven
- Cookie cutters (star shape or any other desired shape)
- Scissors

Instructions
- Prepare your workspace with a flat, clean surface and preheat oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Remove wrappers from old crayons and shave them into small pieces using a pencil sharpener or knife.
- Lay a piece of wax paper on your baking sheet and arrange shaved crayon pieces within the cookie cutter shape.
- Place another layer of wax paper on top of the crayon pieces.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven for 5-10 minutes, monitoring closely as the crayons melt.
- Once melted, remove from the oven and let cool completely before peeling away the wax paper.
- Use scissors to cut out the suncatcher shape and attach a ribbon or string for hanging.
Notes
