Description
Create your own cornstarch snow dough for a fun and sensory-rich activity that mimics the feeling of snow, perfect for indoor play.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cornstarch
- 1 cup conditioner (any brand)
- 1–2 tablespoons of water (as needed)
- Optional: Food coloring or essential oils for scent
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of cornstarch with 1 cup of conditioner. Stir thoroughly until the mixture begins to clump together.
- Gradually add water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing after each addition. The dough should be soft but not sticky.
- If you’d like colored dough, add a few drops of food coloring to your mixture. Knead until the color is evenly distributed.
- The dough should be pliable but firm. If it’s too dry, add a touch more water; if too wet, sprinkle in more cornstarch.
- Place the dough in an airtight container to keep it fresh when not in use.
Notes
Consider adding essential oils for scent or food coloring for fun variations. Eco-friendly glitter can enhance the finished dough.
