Description

A fun and easy recipe for making cornstarch slime, perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy sensory play and creativity.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Stirring stick or spoon
  • Airtight container for storage

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by clearing a clean, flat area and laying down newspaper or a plastic tablecloth for easy cleanup.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of cornstarch and gradually pour in 1/2 cup of water. Stir slowly to combine until the mixture reaches a thick, gooey consistency.
  3. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix thoroughly until the color is well distributed.
  4. Knead the mixture with your hands until it becomes smooth. If it’s too dry, add a tiny bit of water; if too wet, add a touch more cornstarch.
  5. Once you achieve a satisfying texture, enjoy stretching, squishing, and playing with your cornstarch slime.

Notes

Store your slime in an airtight container to maintain its texture. It’s safe and non-toxic, making it great for kids.
