Description

A fun and easy craft to create unique holiday decorations with a delightful marbled effect.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Food coloring (various colors)
  • Glitter (holiday-themed)
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Wax paper or baking sheet (for drying)
  • Airtight container (for storage)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of cornstarch and 1 cup of baking soda. Gradually add 1/2 cup of water while stirring to avoid lumps.
  2. Divide the mixture evenly into several smaller bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl and mix until you reach your desired color for a marbled effect.
  3. Sprinkle festive glitter into the dough and knead slightly to distribute the glitter evenly.
  4. Mold the dough into ornaments, shapes, or decorations and place on wax paper or a baking sheet.
  5. Allow to air dry for 24–48 hours before using them.

Notes

Store unused dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
