Description

A delightful and fun bubble dough made from cornstarch and dish soap, perfect for creative projects with children.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup dish soap (preferably clear)
  • Optional: Food coloring (your choice)
  • Optional: Glitter or essential oils for added fun

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Workspace: Ensure your work surface is clean and covered with a mat or parchment paper to catch spills.
  2. Combine the Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of cornstarch and gradually pour in 1/2 cup of dish soap. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Adjust the Consistency: Mix until the dough comes together. If too dry, add a bit more dish soap; if too wet, sprinkle in more cornstarch.
  4. Add Some Color: If using food coloring, add a few drops and knead until evenly distributed. Incorporate glitter for sparkle if desired.
  5. Shape and Enjoy: Roll the dough into shapes or use cookie cutters for designs. Experiment by blowing bubbles with a straw dipped into the dough.

Notes

Store the bubble dough in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, refrigerate and bring to room temperature before use.
